Biobarica inaugurates a new hyperbaric centre in Balvanera

A new care centre was inaugurated in Balvanera. The centre is located at Bartolomé Mitre 2391 8E, Capital Federal and will offer the benefits of hyperbaric medicine to the community.

Hyperbaric chamber treatment is a non-invasive method that consists of supplying pressurised air and oxygen in a pressurised cabin at 1.45 atmospheres (ATM). The oxygen is absorbed through the airway, the lung. As the pressure in the environment increases, so does the diffusion of the supplied oxygen.  This increases the oxygen in all tissues of the body and the blood. 

Thanks to the increase in oxygen, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy has several benefits that favour the recovery of different pathologies that cause pain, accelerate rehabilitation times, and favour the healing of wounds.

It should be noted that the Hyperbaric Treatment is carried out at 1.45 ATA, an effective and completely safe pressure at a neurological level, which means that there is no risk of oxygen toxicity.
